Privacy policy

What we collect

We collect the information a browser sends automatically, such as the pages you view and a coarse location derived from your network, to measure traffic and improve the site. We also collect any information you choose to send us by email.

Analytics and cookies

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which guides are useful. Analytics data is aggregated; we do not build personal profiles or sell visitor data.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you follow one, the retailer may set a cookie to attribute the visit. That is governed by the retailer's own privacy policy.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the information on this site. If you would like us to delete an email you sent us, ask and we will remove it.
